To escape the judgmental vibe I feel I'm getting from this topic, it should make sense why I thought Link was Zelda. You see, I was like five or six and my first was Link's Awakening (never see that, do ya?) and there was NO Zelda in that game, so I thought that he had to be Zelda.

Link awakens on an island.
I was like six. I picked out a game that had a sword on it and saw Zelda in big red letters on the front.

Isn't there even a dialog exchange in that game near the beginning when Marin says "Zelda? No, my name is Marin" implying that Link mistook her for someone named Zelda? Although I could be thinking of the Oracle games.

But if I'm right about this, you're automatically convicted of epic failure. hahaha kidding.
