 I'm sure those images pleased many a Nintendo fan to be honest. It's not everyday you get to see Reggie's face burnt off!

And I will buy one. Probably not at launch, but within the year it comes out (unless it's total garbage)

 Its official. The 3DS will launch on March 27th (25th in Europe) For 250$. Available in Aqua blue and black. Anyone else excited :D

 Sorry for the double post, but have you guys heard the price for it in Europe? Translating it from Euros to US Dollars, I think it comes out to like $330. That's nuts, considering even the Japanese 3DS isn't even worth that much.

This 3D better be worth the inflated price we're paying for the system...

 It's 250 bucks. The conference last week confirmed it to be 250 bucks in America.

 So yeah, this thing is out Sunday. At least, around here, it is. Who plans on picking it up immediately? I have one on reserve, so I don't have to worry. It's just too bad I haven't seen a single decent game being released at the same time. I'll probably only be playing my Pokemon White on the 3DS for awhile.

It seems like there's really no point to buying one, because six months later, they are just going to come out with a better version of yours, most likely for the same price!
Anyone who uses WIndows is already used to this sort of marketing.
Apple pulls the same stunt with their iPhones, as well.

I probably won't be getting one, for now. I don't really sit on the newest cusp of handheld gaming, and I'm content for right now to play Pokemon: Diamond on my launch DS.

 I'm not getting it. At least, not yet.

I've played one already, and I have to say, it does not impress me enough to pick it up on launch. The AR cards and the gyroscope are the most interesting thing about it to me so far, but there aren't really that many launch games that interest me, and the built-in stuff got a little boring after 30 minutes.

 Picking mine up monday. The line up is fairly lack luster but Street Fighter will do until better games come out.

 I may or may not be getting it soon. I did enjoy Pilotwings on the N64 and the 3DS version didn't look too bad. SFIV would be neat too. But I don't have one reserved. If I can't just pick one up at the place I try, I won't get it until I can.
