This is a review for the game “inFAMOUS” Grammartized by Cosmic. This review is mainly composed of five different parts, each exploring a different factor in this game. •Presentation • gameplay. • Sound. • Story. • appeal
I will give a grade in each of these five categories based on how well I believe this game performs in said category. I do realize that these grades may be subject to opinion, but I did my very best to make sure it is accurate.
Lets start with presentation. The heads-up-display is pretty basic: an Energy bar which measures the amount of energy you have, a mini-map,. and last but not least your karma bar, which I will get to later. Overall, the presentation is well worthy of 10/10.
Now let’s get back to where we were earlier, the karma bar. Karma is one of the most important factors to consider in this game, as well as being one of its best and most interesting game mechanics. This meter controls a variety of things, including your offensive capabilities.
The game’s aiming system is alright, though it needs some improvements. it is not game-destroying. I give Gameplay a 9.5/10 though, so it is not game-destroying.
Next we will cover the audio side of this game. The sound is great and my only gripe is that no matter your alignment it sounds just a little bit too gruff. No matter how goodie-goodie you are you end up sounding like a common old bar-thug. 9.5/10
Next, I will discuss the plot. The story is one of the best factors within the game. You play as a bike messenger who accidentally delivers a bomb which goes off while you are still with the proximity of its dedination. After being unconscious for a time, you wake up and you must get to safety. When you finally do there’s a sudden lighting storm and you literally get blown up. You wake up a week later and you have powers. It can be a little predictable but I swear if you aren’t impressed at the end there is something wrong with you 10/10.
Lastly appeal. Well I literally played this game 3 times over before slowing down a bit 10/10 Overall this is a must buy for playstation 3 owners My overall score is 9.5/10.

I technecly wrote it...You reworded it with much better than mediocre mechanics. I agree.

I technecly wrote it...You reworded it with much better than mediocre mechanics. However, you still failed to implement proper grammar into this short, easily proof-readable document.
I agree. Yep. I second that.

Kamigy, perhaps next time you could allow someone else to proofread it? There were several mistakes throughout.
Also, why do you say five categories when there are only four?

You're really redundant, and I don't feel like you go in depth enough into each field.
Look at this one posted on GameFAQs:

Review by Longbdif "Get Ready To Get Sucker Punched"
Graphics- 9/10
The game runs very fluently and the character models are pretty good for the large scale in which the game was made. Where the game excels actually are the comic book styled cut scenes. These run very nice and compliment the game on its style and give you the story in a concise, fun, and innovative way. The lighting in the game is also where the graphics shine. The lighting on the lightning are amazing and the explosives and fires are jaw breaking.
Sound- 8/10
The sound may be the weakest part of the game. The music doesn't come up often, and its sort of a weird mix, but greatly complements the game and what its trying to do. The sound effects are also nice. The bullet sounds, the car explosions, and the lightning coming from Cole's hand, have a very realistic sound, and great tone, that really add to the action. The bad part about this is that some of these things barely come up. The pedestrians don't really say much, but when they do it's usually the same thing (but there are some more dynamic ones that only happen at times like a woman screaming that something was stolen, or a man crying for help). The sound in the game is actually great in what it does, and suits the game really well but it doesn't come at most part of the games which really weakens it.
Controls- 10/10
The controls for this game are perfect for what there trying to do. The powers are nicely mapped out, and are simple to remember, so when your trying to throw a shock wave, toss a grenade, and then use precision, you could do this with ease, and most importantly with great fun. The platforming was made simple as well. You jump using x and he grabs the closest thing, and you choose the direction in which he wants to go. Climbing a building is more about finding a place to hang on rather than precise Prince of Persia like jumps, but resides on more Sly Cooper like stunts.
Game Play- 10/10
The game includes varied Story Missions, ton of fun and to the point side missions, and a bunch of extras to get. The story missions go from going into the sewers to light up more parts of the city to helping an engineer bring down the bridge to another part of the city. These missions tend to be longer and packed full with action and many objectives to complete. The side missions on the other hand are shorter and are more compressed. They tend to have one objective and lots of enemies to obliterate. The one great part of the game play is powers you get to have. Whether it is an electrified grenade, to riding on cables at an alarming speed, or gliding around with your electric thrusters, there's many ways to move around and dispose of the enemies in your way.
Miscellaneous
The game has many things to do other than the side missions. There are 350 shards that you could find on the three islands in the game that give you more power orbs which allow you to use yours powers more frequently. The game also feature a nice set of 21 stunts that challenge the way you play the game, and make you do hard tasks for the exp you need to get new powers or upgrade them. The stunts come from killing someone by sticking a grenade on them, to throwing three people off a rooftop using shock wave at the same time can be very enjoyable and hard to complete. There's also the trophies that the game has that are very unique and can take some time to get.
Replay Value- High
You'll want to complete this at least twice to be able to see hows it like to be good and evil as there are many moral choices you can make that affect the way your powers branch and how the people around you act. Whether its then thanking you for what you have done or then flipping you off and blaming you for everything that happened. There's many ways your choices affect your game play, and let me tell you, you will be back for more.
Overall Score- 10/10
This game justifies the money used to buy the PS3 and is a great game for people who like games of any genre. The game brings lots of replay and will get you hooked for days. If your not sure about the game download the demo as it shows the game in its prime moments and if you like it and have sixty dollars around then this is the game to buy. This is a great game to add to your collection and I promise you, you won't be disappointed!

You see how he goes into each category and gives precise reasons for his score? You just kinda go "Yeah, it's alright; yeah, this could have been improved", but you don't tell us how or what you didn't like about it.
